A Letter of Gratitude to Compassion International
Dear Compassion International,
Some stories begin with a dream. Mine began with an opportunity.
There was a time when I was simply a young girl with hopes for a better future, unaware of how far one act of compassion could take me. Through Compassion International, I experienced the power of someone believing in a child and investing in her potential.
Your support became more than assistance. It became an opportunity to learn, to grow, to discover my identity, and to believe that my circumstances did not have to define my future.
Today, I carry that experience with me as I work to create opportunities for other children and young people in my community.
The Nashipae Foundation was born from this conviction: that every child deserves the opportunity to discover who they are, develop their potential, and imagine a future beyond the limitations of their circumstances.
My journey with Compassion International taught me that transformation is possible when communities choose to invest in people. It taught me that education can change the trajectory of a life, mentorship can restore confidence, and genuine care can give a young person the courage to dream again.
Today, I desire to give back.
Through The Nashipae Foundation, we seek to support children, young people, women, and vulnerable communities through education, mentorship, empowerment, digital literacy, economic opportunities, and community development.
I am deeply grateful to Compassion International for being part of my story. The seed that was planted in my life has grown into a responsibility—a responsibility to reach back, lift others, and create pathways for the next generation.
I am a product of compassion, and today I choose to become an instrument of compassion.
As we build The Nashipae Foundation, I hope our journey can serve as a reminder of what is possible when we invest in people. The impact of supporting one child does not end with that child. It can extend to families, communities, and generations.
Thank you for believing in children like me.
Thank you for giving me more than an opportunity.
Thank you for giving me the courage to believe that my story could become a source of hope for someone else.
With gratitude and hope,
Nancy Nosim
