Founder & Vision Bearer, The Nashipae Foundation
Some visions are born from comfort. Others are born from witnessing a need and choosing not to look away.
Growing up and working closely with communities in Kajiado County, I encountered stories that shaped me deeply—girls missing school because they lacked basic sanitary products, young people dropping out due to limited opportunities, families struggling against cycles of poverty, and communities rich in potential but lacking access to resources and mentorship.
My inspiration is also deeply personal. As a child, I was privileged to be sponsored through , an experience that profoundly shaped my life and perspective. I am living proof of the transformative impact an organization can have when it chooses to walk alongside a child and remain committed to their growth.
As a beneficiary, I received mentorship, leadership training, educational support through school fees, school visitations, career guidance talks, uniforms, sports programs, skills training, and opportunities to attend camps and educational trips. Beyond supporting children, the organization also empowered parents economically, strengthening entire families and communities. Through those experiences, I learned that true development is not merely about meeting immediate needs—it is about nurturing potential, building confidence, creating opportunities, and helping young people discover their purpose.
These experiences instilled in me a deep sense of accountability. I realized that transformation begins when someone chooses to take responsibility for the change they wish to see. Having witnessed firsthand the power of intentional investment in a child’s future, I felt called to become part of that chain of impact for others. That conviction became the foundation upon which The Nashipae Foundation was established.
The name Nashipae, inspired by the Maasai spirit of beauty, dignity, and purpose, reflects our belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive regardless of their background or circumstances.
Today, The Nashipae Foundation is committed to restoring hope and creating pathways for empowerment through education, mentorship, community literacy, youth development, girls’ empowerment, and sustainable livelihood initiatives. We work to equip vulnerable and marginalized communities with the tools, knowledge, and support necessary to build better futures.
Our current programs focus on:
Girls’ empowerment and menstrual health awareness.
Digital literacy and coding exposure for youth.
Community mentorship and life-skills development.
Educational support and advocacy.
Sustainable community development initiatives.
Looking ahead, our vision extends beyond immediate interventions. We envision communities where every child has access to education, every girl can pursue her dreams with confidence, every young person can access opportunities regardless of their circumstances, and every family can participate in sustainable economic growth.
Future initiatives will include:
Technology and innovation hubs for youth.
School outreach programs on identity, purpose, and leadership.
Scholarship and educational support programs.
Community resource centers.
Social enterprises that create economic opportunities and fund long-term impact.
Expanded empowerment programs across marginalized regions of Kenya.
The Nashipae Foundation is more than an organization; it is a movement of accountability, restoration, and hope. We believe that lasting change happens when individuals, communities, and partners come together to uplift one another.
As Founder and Vision Bearer, my commitment remains simple: to serve faithfully, empower intentionally, and help build a future where every person is given the opportunity to bloom into their fullest potential. Having once been a beneficiary of a life-changing organization, I now carry the responsibility and privilege of extending that same hope, guidance, and opportunity to the next generation.
“Restoring dignity. Empowering purpose. Building sustainable futures.”
